• Replace light bulbs with energy efficient bulbs.
• Fit a good quality lagging jacket on you hot water cylinder.
• Insulate pipes.
• Improve and increase insulation in attics.
• Insulation in walls can be improved by either:
• Dry lining external walls
• Insulating wall with composite plasterboard
• Cavity wall fill (if there is a cavity) and there are no damp problems.
• Windows and Doors can be improved by draught proofing the perimeter of the opening.
• Where windows are in poor condition and single glazed then either double or triple glazing should be installed.
• Where a boiler is old and has a low efficiency rate it should be replaced with a new high efficiency boiler (new models are now up to 95% efficient).
• Consider installing solar panels to provide hot water.

We can calculate the amount of carbon dioxide you produce and then guide you on how to reduce your CO₂ emissions.    We can arrange a before and after BER (Buildings Energy Rating) if required.
